Haven't hooked into anything yet off of Anna Maria island except some shorts fishing like I always do just no luck hoping for this weekend will be diffrent did manage to get one a little short though

I wanna say congrats too all the big fish caught in theses first 3 nights of the tournament.. Congrats big Kenny for kayaking ur bait out in that really bad wind u deserve that shark man, sorry about ur foot man but look on the bright side u can measure yourself and enter yourself for biggest none shark... Lol. Congrats to Joey and team true blue for that beautiful mako u guys are always on big sharks . Congrats to will for that big bridge lemon congrats to everyone who is puting up sharks and if u haven't put up any sharks stick with it ,all it takes is one bait guys.

Please read the rules I have rewritten down below and unerstand them as I will not be pointing them out AGAIN. My job as BHC tournament director is not made any easier by people trying to bend and break the rules.I will be impartial ,will not selectively let you slide from complying with rules.We will conduct this tournament impartially with fairness but with swift actions to correct offenders.We will DISQUALIFY CATCHES and if blatant disrespect of the rules is evidenced DISQUALIFY AN ANGLER or an ENTIRE TEAM.Our place in this sport with over 40 years of land-based experience puts us in a position to uphold and protect this sport and we will not allow a few who may be misinformed fishing this tournament to derail the good work we have done.I personally have worked very hard to Elevate the Big Hammer Challenge Shark Tournament through the toughest most devastating moment in my life and I ask that you please consider taking care of this sport ,the BHC and the anglers in it.Thank you.
THIS TOURNAMENT IS A CATCH AND RELEASE TOURNAMENT AND IF WE FIND OUT THAT ANYONE AND WE DO MEAN ANYONE IS IDENTIFIED AS HAVING PURPOSELY KILLED A SHARK THAT PERSON WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIED.
THIS TOURNAMENT HAS RULES THAT WE MUST ALL ABIDE BY AND I WILL NOT PLAY FAVORITES AND LOOK THE OTHER WAY FOR SFSC MEMBERS OR ANYONE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER .USE A MEASURING TAPE FOR ALL SHARKS IF YOU WANT THEM TO COUNT.THE MEASURING TAPE SHOULD BE MARKED AT EVERY FOOT MARK AND THE TAPE SHOULD FACE THE PHOTOGRAPHER SO WE MAY SEE PRECISELY THE ACCURATE MEASUREMENT OF EACH SHARK SUBMITTED.IF WE DONT SEE A SHARK WITH A MEASURING TAPE ON IT VERIFYING THAT IT IS 5 FOOT MINIMUM IT WILL NOT COUNT.
IF YOU BRING A SHARK ON TOP OF A PIER IT MAY VERY WELL GET DISQUALIFIED BECAUSE WE WOULD MUCH RATHER SEE A SHARK ON THE BEACH BEING MEASURED.SHARKS THAT ARE BLOODIED ON THE DECK OF A PIER WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIED.
ALL SHARKS TO BE SUBMITTED AS A C ATCH MUST HAVE THE ANGLERS FACE IN THE PICTURE. ANY SHARK THAT DOES NOT HAVE A FACE OF AN ANGLER IN THE PICTURE WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.ONLY REGISTERED PAID BHC ANGLERS CAN CATCH SHARKS FOR A TEAM.
